Procedure




On Monday 20th February the teacher came to the classroom, she checked our name that who absented for this course because on that day we had to do the quiz1.

 Procedure or instruction is to tell us how something is accomplished through a sequence of actions or steps. It is very important genre in our society because it enables us to get things done, and it is equally common in the oral and written mode. The purpose is to tell the reader how to do or make something.


Then, she explained the text organisation of procedure. It consists of:


 Goal (often indicated in the main heading and / or diagram)

 Materials (listed in order of use such as utensils, ingredients etc.)

 Method (steps oriented towards achieving the goal)

Next, teacher shown us cooking video by Jamie Oliver. It was about cooking perfect omelet. And she let us jotted down the words that we heard from the video.

Then, she taught us about how to make a Banana Shake. First, we looked at the slide of presentation, we saw the Banana Shake Recipe. There are there parts of this recipe,Goal, Materials, and Method, they made us understand what is it about and how to make it.












After that, she also taught us about how to make a Banana Cake. We looked at the goal, ingredients and method respectively. She read the text to us and let us practice to pronounce the difficult words via Cambridge Dictionary. The recipe also contains two headings, 'Method' and 'Ingredients', which make it clear to us what is involved in making the cake.









After we did it finished, she told us that “this is the time to do the test (quiz 1). After we prepared the chairs finished, we started to do the test (quiz 1).  I think that the test (quiz 1) was difficult for me. Because I must use much time for do it.

Descriptive continues





            On Monday 6th February, I learned about “Descriptive” that was continued from the last week. Before we started, the teacher came and checked the name.  Next, she told us to talk with my friends about “What did you learn last week?” for 2 minutes. 


             Next, she told us to read the text 2 “Budapest”.After I finished read, I answer the questions below the text.   After we did it finished, she gave us the corrective feedback.

            Next, we read the text 3. It is “Prague” that is the city in Europe. After I finished read, she told us to do the activity below this text. But she gave us the corrective feedback while I was doing this activity.

                Then, the teacher told us to read the text 4 and do the activities in this text. After we did it finished, she told us to make a group then each group chose someone to pick the little paper that had three topics. my group got “place”. we discussed the place. So, we chose “Chiang mai”. Then, we drew the diagram for writing the text.


                  After we wrote for 15 minutes, we  present the text that each group wrote. After I finished this lesson, I think text 4 is easy for me because I could read it understandably.

Today was quiet easy to me because it was about description things, read the text and answered the questions. I felt fun we worked in group because we talked and worked together.

Recount (continued) & Descriptive

MONDAY, 30 JANUARY 2017




On Monday January 30, 2017 Teacher came to class at 08.30 am. And checked our name to know that who absent or late. Then teacher asked Sittichai and Kitttikarn to tell friends that what we have done on Sunday.
And then she let us did the activity about the symbols in the story worked in group of 5 people. After finishing, each group sent the representative to shared idea in class. And teacher told us that our group got 2.5/5 points. But I dont understand that why we got 2.5/5 I think we should got 4/5 point. Because we explain about symbols deeply.



Today we started the new lesson Description so teacher shown us the animals pictures, places and person and let us described it. Then, she opened the pictures and told us to describe each picture. So, we had to tell the type of the animal, appearance, and diet”.

First of all, picture was green darner dragonfly.



We described like these:1 The type of the animal => Insect
                                       2 Appearance => 4 wings, small body, and it looks like the jet plane.
                                       3 Diet => dew and grasses.


We described like these: 1 The type of the animal => Insect
2 Appearance => long legs, small body, orange color, two eyes, big abdomen and head, antenna, and mandible.
3 Diet => sugar or sweet, and food.


We described like these: 1 Appearance => long and forked tongue, fat body and long tail, four big legs, rough skin, gray color, and it looks like crocodile combine with the snake.
2 Habitat => it lives on the ground and in the water, a lot of trees, and humidity places. It always lives alone.
3 Diet => fishes, insects, plants, animals, chicken, meat.





Finally, the teacher told me to do that for the homework. I felt nervous with my homework because of Im not good at drawing the picture.

In my opinion, the lesson wasnt too difficult but it wasnt easy. Today we just described things

So I thought today is fun for me to work in group with friends.

MONDAY, 30 JANUARY 2017



On Sunday January 29, 2017 today was makeup class because of the Monday 13th was a holiday. When the teacher came to the class, she began to checked the name to know that who was present. We kept studying even though only had 26 students in the class.  After that, she read and explained the story Secretin part one. After she read the part one finished, she told us to make a group for 4 people to summarized in part one.




Then, we summarized like this:

    Kylie feels left out from her mother and Philips activities. She becomes interested in the chickens in the yard. Somehow her secret helps her to feel less lonely.
She finds the second egg and then finds out where others are being laid by an unhealthy-looking hen. Her secret becomes bigger every day. When her mother and Phillip leave her alone, she goes to share her secret with the hen. So, sometimes she looks her photo album and tries to find her father in photos but she cant see him. Because of her father had been the photographer. At the same time, she looks at the lid of well because she wants to go down to the well.



she told us to do the activity C,D After we did it finished, my friends and I read the sentences to share our opinions in our group. And then, the teacher told us to work in pair. So, she told us to choose the most important and wrote it in the small paper 3 lists, then sent it to her.

After Kittikan told everyone that The first is neglect’. The second is problems associated with contemporary family life’. And the third is childrens rights’.






Finally, we opened page 13 the diagramthat we had ever done it since the first time that we learned this lessons. So, we crossed it again and we did it follow the story.







Today teacher assigned us to thing about the symbolic in this story.
The eggs >> The egg like a love of hen so Kylie jealous then she threw chicks and hen in the well because she didnt got it.
The well>>  The world of adults because Kylies mother and Philip doesnt want Kylie to get close to the well.
The photos>>A love of family that is the past events that Kylie remember about her father.

Today, I felt good because when I answered the questions teacher can hear my voice. But I felt lazy because today is Sunday I wanted to lay on my bed.

"Recount continues" and "Narrative"

On Monday January 23, 2017 I went to class around 07.45am. First of all, she checked list of our name to know who was presented, absent or late. Then, she would like us to talk to a friend that was about what did I do on weekend" 


 About  me I went back to my hometown Prachaup Khiri Khan to help my mom worked and spent my time with my family.Then she gave us the corrective feedback of the homework that she assigned us to do on last week. it was exercise 3 ,4.  Then, we read text that was the police report about Investigation report”. So, she told us to make a group and summarize the text.



It is about the couple consists of an old woman and a boy in their lorry were stopped when they were driving too fast. The police tried to investigate them by requiring license card but she described it with a trace of irony as being a "piece of paper with your picture on." After that, they were being taken to the police station, the woman started up the vehicle and drove away. The police raced after her on his motorcycle, unfortunately, he ended up in a muddy ditch which allowed the couple to escape.




Teacher started new lesson , "Narrative" by showing us the example and let us do some activities. She told us to do the activity that was put a cross on the line in the circle, at an appropriate point, to show how I felt as a child.”

 I thought this lesson is interesting and made me think of the time in childhood.


Today  I used past tense to answer the question and I used linking words, specific participants and text organization for understanding the story.
